BENNY BENACK III QUARTET IS BACK!!
A finalist in the 2014 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Trumpet Competition, and the 2019 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition, 30-year-old Benny Benack III is a key part of the superlative group of young musicians that’s breathing new life into New York City’s legendary jazz scene. UPDATE: Benny Benack III just won Third Prize from a field of more than 600 applicants, and is the first male award winner in the competition’s history.
